Want a song? A video? A lot of people go to third party websites to download songs that are embedded in flash players or to download videos on websites like YouTube or Vimeo. What a lot people don’t know is if you’re using Safari, you don’t have to go anywhere. Safari has a built-in window that lets you not only view all files from any webpage that you visit, but it also gives you the ability to download any of those files.

It’s very simple. Go to the webpage with the content you want. Once the page has loaded, go to the top menu and click on “Window” and then click on “Activity”.

Once you click on “Activity”, another window will open up displaying all of the files on all the webpages you currently have open.

Find the file, video or mp3 that you want. Double click. And it should download right to your computer.
